  • Lisa Daly

    Lisa Daly is an owner, teacher, a mother, and mentor. She has been teaching dance for 23 years. She specializes in all styles of dance. Growing up she trained intensely in the studio and by attending many conventions. Lisa has worked with the industries top teachers and choreographers, and she became an award winning choreographer and teacher herself. She has accomplished many things in her career, but her favorite moments happen in the class room. Lisa knows how to bring the best out of every child that she works with, that is what makes her so unique. She has danced professionally for many years, including dancing for many professional sports teams. Lisa has owned FIDC since 2012, and expanded it and created an empire that is Studio 12.

  • Kylah Henry

    Kylah Henry began her dance training in 2003, and has yet to stop. Though her foundation is widely in Horton Modern technique, Jazz, and Lyrical, it was at 12 years old in 2011 that she really fell in love with teaching/directing urban choreography. By the end of her college career, she’d gained experience directing several competitive teams, ranging from youth to collegiate level. It wasn’t until she joined leadership for Team Athena in 2019 that she truly felt she’d found her forever family. Using her knack for planning and organization, she runs Team Athena like a tight ship. After being introduced to FIDC through Darius Brown, she was able to extend her dance family to a fun, talented group of young kids. She hopes to continue working to build a bigger and brighter future for the team alongside owner Lisa Daly.

  • Emily Daly

    Emily Daly, our MVMNT director, is a teacher, dancer and award winning choreographer in the DFW Metroplex. Emily has taught at many different studios in the Dallas area and currently teaches at Studio 12 Dance Center alongside her mother, Lisa Daly, who is owner of Studio 12. Emily is hired all over the United States for her award winning choreography. She has trained in all styles of dance since she was two years old, but specializes in hiphop and contemporary. Growing up, Emily attended a performing arts conservatory where she played the lead in many musicals, including Grease, Footloose, Shrek, The Charlie Brown Musical, and South Pacific. Emily has performed at many places including corporate events, Six Flags over Texas, Disney World, a Staples Commercial, Americas Got Talent, and the Dallas Cowboys Halftime Show. Along with receiving many scholarships from conventions like Jump, Hollywood Vibe, and Monsters of Hiphop, Emily has gotten the opportunity to assist well known hiphop choreographers such as Phil Wright, Hamilton Evans, and Misha Gabriel. When she is not teaching, Emily is continuing her training on an all female hiphop team called Team Athena that competes in competitions like World of Dance. She enjoys spreading the love of dance with all her students, and watching them grow.

  • Chloe Wilson

    Chloe Wilson has been dancing for 17 years. She says that dance has been apart of her life from the beginning. She started formally training at two years old and hasn't looked back since! Chloe danced competitively for 10 years and later began taking professional dance jobs by the age of 16. She trained at Dana’s Studio Of Dance for 11 years where she focused on ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hiphop, and acro! Chloe then began her training at Nsdancespace where she trained in heels dancing for 3 years. Amongst Nsdancespace, Chloe began to focus on hiphop at FIDC where she competed and went to hiphop intensives to further her training in this style. Chloe now teaches at Studio 12 Dance Center.

  • Britta Albertson

    Britta has trained with and worked with some of the top ballet companies in the country. Such as Ballet West, Oregon Ballet Theater, and Ballet Arizona. Since the age of 15. She has trained in most classical ballet techniques including Vagonova, Cicchetti, Balanchine, and Bournonville. Britta has also had the opportunity to learn from some amazing contemporary instructors and choreographers along with traditional Horton and Graham modern training. Britta has been dancing for 13 years and has been teaching for 5 years!

  • Lily Coatney

    Lily Coatney is a 2023 graduate of Texas Tech University, where she was a member of the national and world champion Texas Tech Pom Squad. While at Texas Tech, she trained under Coach Erin Alvarado. She danced for Birdville High School’s Golden Motion Dance Team as a 4-year varsity member and served as Junior Lieutenant and First Lieutenant before graduating in 2020. Since her graduation in December, Lily has been teaching dance classes and private lessons and has coached dancers as they prepared for high school and college dance auditions. She will begin working this fall as an assistant to Richland High School’s Royal Line dance team and as a choreographer, technician and dance teacher for Birdville Independent School District.

    Lily is also on staff at MA Dance, where she choreographs dance routines and teaches at drill team and officer camps. Additionally, she has created choreography for some of our area drill teams’ competitive pieces. She grew up training and dancing competitively at Artistry in Motion Performing Arts Center in North Richland Hills, where she was on the ballet company and competitive dance company.

    Lily is a devoted dance teacher with a special affinity for helping students learn proper technique and grow in their love for the art. She enjoys creating choreography and working with soloists, ensembles, teams and classes to create and clean their dances.
